Jonzip Solo EP is going to be something truly special!

Rumours have been flying around for a while now that our very own Jonzip McNeill was set to record tracks for his first solo EP, down at Sunshine Corner in Hampshire, with none other than Smiley, and Pablo Cook – Joe Strummer’s original Mescaleros!

After a pretty full-on weekend, the tracks are sounding immense!!
It was an absolute honour to be part of the great vibe created in that room whilst percussive genius was added to the, invariably, brilliant song writing from Jon.

Jon commented “It was a privilege to work with Smiley and Pablo, and I can’t wait to let the world hear the result. The guys have brought some Mescaleros magic to the normal Jonzip acoustic clatter!”

All present agreed that more than once over the weekend, the spirit of Joe Strummer was evoked …
